FAQ
Do you work on location or do I come to you?
Both! I always have the option available to come to my home studio in Maplewood, MN at anytime. However I love to travel to you & make your day as easy as possible!
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes & no. No travel fee for photographers with studios or shoots within the Twin Cities area, but will charge a fee if travel time is an hour or more. I charge .60/mile there & back for weddings regardless of location, and may require additional travel fees if an assistant is required.
Do you have an assistant for larger events?
If you have a larger event or bridal party I can provide an assistant depending on date & time of your event!
Do I need to do anything to my hair?
Yes! If you have type 3 curls & you want smoothed-over beach waves I recommend straightening your hair prior to our session. I also request that your hair is dry; not the "I showered this morning it's almost dry". DRY dry. When you're a perfectionist on a time clock it's really important our look lasts all day!
Do I have to prep my skin at all?
Yes PLEASE <3 Arrive with clean and moisturized skin; no makeup leftover from yesterday! Make sure you're hydrating for 24-48 hours before your session & it'll make a world of difference.
I have a unique concept, can you do it?
I love one-of-a-kind looks we create together with your vision in mind. Send me your inspiration & we'll put our own flair on it! Even if I haven't tried it, I'm willing to if you are.
