Hi, I am McKenzie Lange!

A few things about me: I'm a full time Hair & Makeup Artist in the Twin Cities, with a home studio located in Maplewood, MN. I have the best cat in the world and she loves when I have visitors at home; if you're allergic please let me know and I'll happily accommodate you as much as possible! As a former barista, I'm in love with coffee- so your "coffee breath" is safe with me! I love to joke & play around but I'm also the biggest hype woman, so if you're feeling nervous in anyway I'll be there to ease your mind.

My passion for hair & makeup began when I was in grade school, watching Youtube videos and finding Pinterest styles that I could recreate on my cousin Serena. That blossomed into doing Homecoming/Prom makeup; then progressing into engagements, weddings & maternity shoots. It wasn't until I found boudoir through modeling about 2 years ago that I branched off and created my own business, Made Up By McKenzie. I started assisting photographers to learn about photo shoots, posing & lighting; often staying after my H&M appointment to shoot behind the scenes content for my client if requested! I'm obsessed with everything that goes hand in hand with hair & makeup, and I want to make your dreams come true. Even if it's last second I'll make my best effort to fit you in with no hassle; I love my job & being a part of your big day. Whatever the concept, I'm your girl!
